We’ve been in business since 1987 — that’s over 38 years of experience and more than 5,000 events!

What’s the difference between Music Express and other DJ’s?

It’s the Dance Music!

Most DJs avoid older music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s because it’s hard to mix and doesn’t hold up to modern production standards. We took that challenge seriously. Using professional audio tools and years of experience, we’ve personally remixed over 1,000 classic tracks, making them sound fuller, tighter, and ready for the dance floor.

I don’t know of any other DJ company in Hawaii or anywhere else — that does this level of remixing. It’s what allows us to blend generations of music seamlessly that keep the energy up, the transitions smooth, and the dance floor pumping!

Have you missed any event dates?

Knock on wood, we have not missed a single event date.

Do you take song requests?

Absolutely. We encourage clients to provide a list of favorites and must-plays. We’re also great at reading the crowd and adjusting the music in real time to keep the energy up. We do our best to avoid playing versions with profanity.

Where do you travel for events?

We travel to events held on the island of Oahu .

What type of Payments do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, checks, and cash. At this time, we don’t accept cryptocurrency.
